Every note emanates a series of other notes that when audible vibrate in our bodies in such a way that a boom of expansion occurs in our souls. These intervals are called overtones. 

For Sound Therapy, listening to the overtones is as necessary and crucial as listening to the silence, to the spaces between, to the intervals. More than listening to them, it is important to feel their vibrations and open the silence in the body. Sound Therapy creates a dance between silence, sound and its overtones for the expansion of life forces in our souls, changing the resonance of our own vibrations.

When we touch the vibrating tuning forks on acupuncture points, we not only nourish and align the body in its physical dimension, but also in its spiritual and energetic reality. A rich listening field is opened and our vibrational level is raised in such a way that a profound experience of grounding offers us the necessary conditions for the affirmation of life on each singular path.

This work is based on research carried out by its creator, Fabien Maman, who in the early 80’s conducted revolutionary biology experiments at the University of Jussieu in Paris, showing the impacts of acoustic sound on human cells and their energy fields. Fabien found that through a series of acoustic sounds, he could explode cancer cells, as well as energize and empower healthy ones. 

This would become the driving theory behind Fabien’s life’s work: ‘that blockages in our subtle energy fields can result in physical illness if they are allowed to crystallize, and Sound, Color and Movement® are the most effective tools we can use to dissolve these negative energetic patterns.’

In 1988 Fabien founded Tama-Do (“Way of the Soul”), the Academy of Sound, Color and Movement® with which Mariana has been studying since 2017. Tama-Do is a complete therapeutic work based on the classical traditions of music, mathematics, Chinese medicine, aikido, astrology and astronomy, linking human beings through resonance with nature and the Cosmos.
